Why we’re leaning into group calls

Political campaigns often work with a few tactics:

  • Doorknocking to meet voters in your district

  • Call time to raise money people you know

  • Going to events

I think this is a problem.

Candidates are unable to have real conversations with people because you never spend more than a couple minutes with anyone before you have to move onto the next door/donor/person waiting for a handshake.

It leads to a shallow level of policy and a real difficulty for people to express nuanced views to their representatives.

It also is a huge amount of time out of the house, which is a problem for me, and every other candidate who has to juggle a campaign with childcare.

Luckily, we have better options.

I’m looking to have 30-minute conversations with groups of people who want to share their experiences and hear about my policies (or even just what a campaign is really like).

Hosting is nothing more than sending some texts and a calendar invite, and we can walk you through the whole process. It should take you no more than 5 minutes to organize it and we appreciate it immensely.

If you and your friends or family want to have a call like this, please fill out the form. We’ll be in touch soon
