He’s incredibly smart, but what stands out even more is the kind of husband and father he is. Watching him with Sarita and Kai says everything about his character. My family and I care deeply about Somerville, and I can’t think of anyone I’d trust more to represent our community on Beacon Hill.

Chris and I first met at the Healey school playground. In between pitching a ball to his son and watching him climb the jungle gym, we chatted about Massachusetts. We mostly talked about HOW he approaches challenges by listening to people impacted by decisions and using evidence to make decisions. He is not looking for quick wins that fit neatly into a headline, but meaningful change that will benefit current and future residents.
